GIVING BACK

Causes that Kimberley Supports

Helping others - whether with time, money or encouragement - is something that has been instilled in me my entire life. It is at the core of who I am and is a big reason I started KAS Coaching & Consulting! Below, are some of the organizations I support.

Causes Kimberley Supports: Services
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION

Save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

AFSP funds scientific research, educates the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocates for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, and supports survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide.

FEEDING AMERICA

Working to end hunger in the United States.

Feeding America partners with food banks, food pantries, and local food programs to bring food to people facing hunger, and advocates for policies that create long-term solutions to hunger.

mikeroweWORKS Foundation

MIKEROWEWORKS FOUNDATION

Close the skills gap by challenging the stigmas and stereotypes that discourage people from pursuing the millions of available jobs and redefining the definitions of a good education and a good job.

You know him from the TV series Dirty Jobs, in 2008, Mike Rowe created the mikeroweWORKS Foundation to launch a national PR campaign for skilled labor. The mikeroweWORKS Foundation provides scholarships through the Work Ethic Scholarship Program to help people get trained for skilled jobs that are in demand. Their research has shown that opportunities in the trades aren't alternative careers, but viable careers.

THE V FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH

Victory over cancer®

The V Foundation funds research across the country on all types of cancer, and is committed to funding projects and people that will make the biggest impact.
